New Summer Edition lollies have been found in Tesco but opinions are mixed. Some can’t wait to try the latest concoctions, but others feel they aren’t summery enough.
Alongside pictures of Tesco’s new ice creams, Newfoodsuk posted on Facebook: “More new ice creams at Tesco.”
The supermarket has launched a selection of Summer Edition ice creams, including 6 Caramel & Popcorn Ice Cream Sandwiches, 3 Popcorn & White Chocolate Ice Cream, 8 Mini Caramelised Biscuit Ice Creams, and 3 Caramelised Pecan Ice Creams.
The post has amassed 530 likes and nearly 200 comments, with many Tesco shoppers tagging their loved ones to alert them of the supermarket’s newest summery snack. One ice cream enthusiast tagged their loved one, stating: “I’ll love you forever if you go to Tesco and get these.”

Another Tesco shopper said: “Definitely need to try them all.” A third added: “On the shopping list lol.” One shopper praised the supermarket. They proclaimed: “I need Tesco!”
But not everyone was best pleased with the new additions to Tesco’s frozen dessert aisle. Some called for some fruity flavours in keeping with the summer theme.
A Tesco shopper said: “I wouldn’t call them summer ice lollies, just the usual ice cream flavours made into a different form. Bring back the fruit.”
Another seconded this: “I saw the boxes and thought, ‘Ooh fruity summer yum yums, maybe some Pina Colada or something like that’. Nope, not popcorn and caramelised biscuit – they don’t scream summer.”
One customer couldn’t believe that summer-themed ice creams were coming out so soon commenting: “Summer? It’s only March.”
Another simply did not approve of Tesco’s new flavours. The disgruntled shopper said: “They can keep them.”
