Wrestling legend Goldberg has lashed out at former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon branding him a ‘piece of s***’ after claiming that the businessman had failed to honour an agreement with him.
Goldberg, who’s real name is William Goldberg, is one of the most renowned figures in professional wrestling, having been inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
His wrestling career began back in 1996 with the World Championship Wrestling circuit, before Goldberg joined the WWE in 2003 where he would later become a world heavyweight champion.
Despite that the Goldberg has hit out at former WWE CEO McMahon, who retired from his position back in July, claiming that while he owed a lot to McMahon, the 78-year-old had had failed to fulfil a promise.
‘Vince is like Dana White,’ Goldberg said on Steve & Captain Evil: The Podcast.

Goldberg had agreed with McMahon to fight Roman Reigns in return for a retirement match
‘He’s the big boss and he makes everything happen, and in all honesty, he gave me the opportunity to put my wife and son on the front row and gave me the ability to perform again in front of them.
‘So, I owe him everything, until we went to Saudi Arabia and he asked me to put Roman Reigns over, and I had COVID.
‘I remember calling him from my house and said, ‘Listen, here is the deal. I’ll do it if you give me a retirement match.’
‘I did what he asked. As a performer, I was 56 years old. As a human being, you’re conscientious about how you look in a bathing suit, especially two months prior to being in that bathing suit, you couldn’t work out because you had COVID.’
Goldberg would fulfil his end of the bargain, losing to Reigns in Elimination Chamber match in February 2022 and had hoped that he would be given his retirement match in return.
But the former WWE CEO reportedly failed to hononur his end of the bargain, with Goldberg left fuming
But that never happened, with Goldberg, saying: ‘I put myself in a horribly s*** situation to get what I wanted to, but to satiate him and give him what he wanted.
‘Problem is, he never held up his bargain. Vince is a piece of s*** as far as I’m concerned.’
His first stint with the WWE lasted for only a year before he would step back from pro wrestling for over a decade only to return again in 2016.
The 57-year-old is no longer contracted to the WWE but with head of creative Triple H now in charge, there is still a chance he could one day come back for a retirement match.
