Keke Palmer
These days, Keke Palmer is known for starring in a range of different genres, including sci-fi horror ‘Nope’, and hosting her own podcast about motherhood. But Keke got her big break when she was cast in the title role of a teenage fashion designer in ‘True Jackson, VP’ but her memories of the 2000s sitcom aren’t all positive. In a nod to Nickeldeon’s flagship cartoon character, she said: “I felt like I was walking around in a SpongeBob suit that I couldn’t take off. I was trapped. I couldn’t leave my room without someone coming up to me calling me True Jackson. What you are, to everyone, is just a character … just part of their experience.”
