Cybertruck Sinks in Harbor During Failed Attempt at Jet Ski Launch
A Tesla Cybertruck was pulled from the water in Ventura, California, on March 10, after its driver had attempted to use the vehicle to launch a Jet Ski.Video filmed by Jacob Barrick from the Ventura Harbor Launch Ramp shows the Cybertruck, with attached Jet Ski trailer, fully submerged before being winched from the water by firefighters.“When water entered the cabin, it sank and snapped the mooring lines,” Barrick told Storyful.In 2022, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted: “Cybertruck will be waterproof enough to serve briefly as a boat, so it can cross rivers, lakes & even seas that aren’t too choppy.” Credit: Jacob Barrick via Storyful
