Liam Gallagher has fired back after the reported line-up for Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour was leaked to the media.
The singer, 52, is reuniting with his brother Noel Gallagher, 57, for an Oasis tour in 2025; it’s Definitely Maybe the end of their long-running feud that has played out in the spotlight since their backstage fallout in 2009.
The NME has reported the names of musicians joining them on tour: Andy Bell will play bass, Gem Archer will be on guitar, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs will also be on guitar and Joey Waronker will be on the drums.
Liam was furious to find out that the Oasis band line-up has been revealed before the Gallagher brothers made the news public. The songwriter said he was willing to give an exclusive interview to the magazine in exchange for the identity of the “mole in the crew”.
Responding to the news, he wrote on X: “NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it LG x.”
He added: “I want to know who the bands close sources are there saying we have a mole in the crew.”
Liam issued a warning to the reported mole. He wrote on X: “Coz we’re not messing about this time any BIGMOUTHS talking to the press are gonna get dealt with.” Liam told his followers that the fallout that led to Oasis splitting up in 2009 was over leaks to the media.
Yahoo UK has reached out to Liam and Noel Gallagher’s representatives for further comment.
Who are in the Oasis reunion tour 2025 band line-up?
NME has claimed the four names who are going to be sharing the stage with the Gallagher brothers on the Oasis tour this summer.
Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs was an original member of Oasis, later choosing to leave in 1999 but it’s unsurprising that he has long been rumoured to make a comeback to the band as the guitarist. Bonehead has shared the stage with Liam throughout his career as a solo artist too.
Andy Bell had played the bass for Oasis before when he took over from Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan between 1999 and 2009. The bass player also teamed up with Liam on spin-off band Beady Eye.
Gem Archer has also had ties to Oasis, having stepped in to play for Oasis between 1999 and 2009 after Bonehead left. Archer stayed in touch with both Gallagher brothers, playing as part of Noel’s High Flying Birds as well as Liam’s Beady Eye.
Joey Waronker reported to be the “new face” in the Oasis reunion tour line-up. Unlike the other musicians, Waronker has never played with Oasis before. He is best known for performing with Beck, R.E.M., Roger Waters, Atoms for Peace, and Ultraísta.
The Oasis 2025 reunion tour kicks off on 4 July at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
