An Australian woman got one of the frights of her life when she opened her garage door and an enormous carpet python swung down from above.
Rachel Jelley of Currumbin Waters, just south of Gold Coast, Queensland, said she went out to grab screws and the snake “just jumped out” as the electronic door was opening.
Jelley said the snake had been visiting their property for years and they had no plans to have it removed, instead preferring to take a “live and let live” approach to wildlife in the area.
