A weight loss coach has unveiled a new method for shedding belly fat, particularly aimed at women over 40.

Christy Campbell’s ’20-10 method’ promises significant fat loss without traditional dieting, she explained.

In a recent social media post, the weight loss coach explained: “I wish more women 40+ knew that losing belly fat really is as simple as the 20-10 method.”

The approach involves a 20-day calorie deficit plan followed by a break day, with the cycle then repeated.

The 20-day plan involves reducing daily calorie intake by 300-500 calories below maintenance level.

Campbell advised: “Get apps 1g/pound of goal body weight in protein and split the rest of your calories between carbs and fat.”

She emphasised the importance of consuming whole, nutrient-dense foods.

This consistent approach over 20 days is crucial for initiating bodily changes.

Campbell explained: “By committing to 20 days in a row, you give your body the consistency it needs to change.”

After the 20-day period, Campbell recommended a single day off to eat higher calories and enjoy a break.

The cycle then resumes. She added: “Doing this 2x in a row is 42 days and will help you lose approximately eight to 12 pounds of body fat.”

This not only allows for sustainable weight loss but eradicates the need for strict, continuous dieting.

The 10-day break, spread across the 42 days, provides a mental and physical respite whilst maintaining overall progress.

The coach emphasised that this method is particularly effective for women over 40 who struggle with belly fat.

“If you store fat in your belly, this will help a tonne, and if you are over 40, the additional movement is going to give your metabolism a much-needed boost.”

Campbell stresses the importance of increasing daily movements alongside the nutrition plan, calling it a “game-changer”.

The ’20-10′ approach is designed to be simple and easy to remember, making it accessible for those seeking sustainable weight loss.
