An urgent search is underway for twin sisters who went missing in Scotland three days ago.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen walking next to the River Dee in Aberdeen on 7 January.

They were spotted on CCTV at around 2.12am but have not been seen since.

Police said “extensive enquiries” are underway to trace the sisters, including searches in and around the area they were last seen, using police dogs and the force’s marine unit.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen on CCTV in Market Street at Victoria Bridge in Aberdeen in Scotland at around 2:12am.

They crossed the bridge and turned right onto a footpath next to the River Dee, appearing to be heading in the direction of the Aberdeen Boat Club.

Eliza and Henrietta are both described as white and of slim build with long, brown hair.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace Eliza and Henrietta and searches are being carried out in and around the area where they were last seen.

“Local officers, led by specialist search advisors are being assisted by resources including police dogs and our marine unit.

Police are urging anyone with any information on the missing twins to come forward. (SWNS)

“The Torry side of Victoria Bridge where they were last seen has many commercial and industrial units.

“Searches are ongoing here and we would urge businesses in and around the South Esplanade and Menzies Road area to please review their CCTV footage for early morning on Tuesday, 7 January, 2025 and contact us if it holds anything that may be relevant to our investigation. We also ask anyone with dashcam footage from that time to contact us.”

He said police are speaking to people who know the sisters and urged anyone who has seen them or who has any information regarding their whereabouts to contact 101 quoting incident number 0735 of Tuesday, 7 January, 2025.

Whilst CCTV shows where the sisters were last seen, it is not known exactly where they were going or why they were walking where they were in the early hours of the morning.

Police have not released further information about the twins such as where they lived or worked, and where they are originally from.

It is also not known who reported them missing, and whether they have family in the area.
