There is no single recipe for weight loss, but a simple, protein-packed breakfast, may set dieters on the right path.

One slimmer recently claimed that switching up his breakfast helped him shed nearly four pounds in just one week.

Arash, who goes by @ketorecipes on TikTok, described the breakfast in a post captioned: “This is a simple breakfast that will keep you on track all day.”

The easy recipe combines medium-boiled eggs, cottage cheese, and avocado for a satisfying start to the day.

“The protein and healthy fats will keep you satiated and less hungry throughout the day,” the content creator noted.

“Plus, if losing weight is your thing, I had a variation of this for breakfast almost every day last week and this helped me lose 3.5lb on my first week back on plan. It’s super easy and it’s so good.”

Recipe:

Start by preparing medium-boiled eggs. “I bring a pot of water to a boil then drop eggs in right out of the fridge for a total of eight minutes 25 seconds,” explained Arash.

“If you want firmer eggs, go a few seconds long. If you want it more jammy, go with 7.5 minutes or so.

“Whatever time you decide, when they’re done, bring them out of the hot water and drop them into an ice bath for a few seconds to cool down.”

For the second step, grab your favourite bowl and add one serving of cottage cheese as the layer.

“If you don’t like the curds you can always process it to get it to be creamier,” Arash instructed viewers. “Slice the eggs and place on the cottage cheese, then slice half an avocado and add to a bowl.

“Finally, add some lower-calorie flavourful additions. I like to add fresh cilantro, some super finely diced red onions and lots of truffle hot sauce.

“You can add whatever you like. Cucumbers, tomatoes, and jalapenos would be great here too, for lower calorie additions. Top with some Chile lime seasons and everything bagel seasoning.”
