Police have released CCTV of missing Gaynor Lord’s last known movements.
The footage shows the 55-year-old walking around Norwich city centre, with the last sighting of her captured at 4.01pm.
Police were alerted that the mother-of-three had gone missing on Friday after her possessions were found in Wensum Park shortly after 8pm.
Officers believe Mrs Lord may have entered the nearby River Wensum after clothing she had been wearing including a white shirt, yellow tank top plus two rings, glasses and mobile phone, were found in the park in various locations.
Her olive-coloured coat was discovered in the River Wensum.
Mrs Lord is described as white, 5ft 6in with a blonde shoulder-length bob.
Security images show her walking along Queens Street and then St George’s Street at 3.49pm. Mrs Lord is then sighted on St Crispins Road and finally on St Augustines Street at 4.01pm, which is the last known location before she disappeared.
Specialist underwater search teams from Lincolnshire Police joined the search on Wednesday after Norfolk constabulary’s Marine Unit, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and the Coastguard had been scouring the area.
A witness has come forward claiming to have seen a woman matching Ms Lord’s description at 4pm on Friday.
Rosie Richards, who lives near Wensum Park, a Norwich nature reserve, told BBC: “It’s really upsetting… I’m just thinking of her friends and family, because she is a sort of similar age to my mum and that would be awful to be going through what they are going through right now. It’s really upsetting.”
Ten police vehicles, a drone and two search and rescue rigid inflatable boats were seen searching the area on Monday.
Supt Wes Hornigold, Norwich policing commander, said: “Today we are releasing the footage of Gaynor’s last known steps on Friday afternoon before she went missing.
“We hope this will help to jog the memory of anyone who may have seen her in the city that afternoon or who may have footage of her journey.”
Supt Hornigold added: “We are particularly keen on hearing from anyone who may have seen Gaynor in the cathedral grounds which she enters at 2.50pm and leaves at 3.23pm.
“It’s not clear where she goes inside the cathedral grounds during this time so we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her there.”
He added: “We are continuing our extensive searches but would appeal to the public to come forward with any information which may help to find Gaynor. In the footage you can clearly see what she was wearing when she went missing.
“This is a particularly stressful time for her family and specialist officers continue to provide support.”
Wensum Park remains closed to the public.
