Waitrose unveils Christmas 2024 range featuring 175 new additions

Waitrose has shared its Christmas 554-product-strong range for 2023, with an assortment of 175 new treats for shoppers.

The supermarket chain has introduced a range of mouth-watering products with food lovers in mind, reflecting the latest culinary trends.

The new range includes innovative twists on classic dishes, featuring a nostalgic prawn cocktail with a modern spine and limoncello-infused treats.

An array of impressive centrepieces and sides are all on offer, with standout meals including the Glorious Treacle Glazed Turkey Crown, boasting pork, chestnut and bacon stuffing, topped with treacle-cured bacon.

The supermarket has shared the release dates for its Christmas range

WAITROSE

Those seeking an alternative to turkey will find the Waitrose No.1 British Wagyu Beef Sirloin Joint on offer.

The meat will be enhanced with a beer malt glaze and finished with a shallot, herb, garlic and crispy onion crumb.

Other notable additions in the range include a Blood Orange & Festive Spiced Ham, British Treacle Pigs in Blankets and a Bacon, Leek & Winter Herb Stuffing Log.

The Christmas range will also feature an impressive selection of sweet treats, including the Waitrose No.1 Red Velvet Bauble Dessert, a creamy white chocolate and mascarpone mousse with raspberry and redcurrant compôte, finished with a festive red lustre.

The No.1 Tiramisu Dessert offers a classic Italian indulgence, layering Savoiardi biscuits and spine cake soaked in coffee sauce with mascarpone cream laced with Marsala wine.

The supermarket has also given its own spin to traditional favourites, with the No.1 Brown Butter Frangipane Mince Pies and No.1 Jewelled Cointreau & Cranberry Christmas Pudding.

Hot Chocolate lovers can indulge in the No.1 Starry Night Hot Chocolate Coins, made with rich milk chocolate that melts into hot milk.

Maddy Wilson, Director of Own Brand at Waitrose, said: “Christmas really is the time to shine for food lovers, creating the perfect menu to impress for all festive occasions.

“With searches on Waitrose.com already rising, it’s clear this is already something they are thinking about.

“Whether you want options to elevate further or fuss-free GOOD food with no prep, we have created a range that ticks the box for everyone this Christmas – we hope our customers love the range just as much as we do!”
