A soap star has been arrested on suspicion of child sex offences against five teenage boys, according to reports.

The unnamed actor was detained by police who raided his home earlier this month over historic paedophile claims dating back to the 1990s.

A police spokesperson confirmed to The Sun: “Officers investigating allegations relating to the 1990s detained a man.

“He was arrested on suspicion of several sexual offences relating to five men who were teenage boys at the time of the alleged offending. He has been conditionally bailed while enquiries continue.”

During the raid, police reportedly seized computers and documents from the actor’s home.
