TUI has expanded its city break portfolio with the addition of two new Spanish destinations, Sitges and Malaga, as the travel company continues to see strong growth in short-break holidays.
The expansion comes as TUI reports its city break bookings have grown by approximately 30 per cent annually.
The new destinations join TUI’s extensive collection of city breaks, which now encompasses 51 locations ranging from local getaways to long-haul adventures.
Sitges, located a short distance from Barcelona, offers visitors 17 pristine beaches along its Mediterranean coastline.

The vibrant coastal town is renowned for its dynamic nightlife scene and rich cultural calendar.
Among its most celebrated events are the town’s LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations and the animated February Carnival festivities.
Malaga, the second new addition, stands as a cultural powerhouse with more than 30 museums concentrated within a 2km radius, including the prestigious Picasso Museum.
The southern Spanish city combines historical richness with coastal allure.
For adventurous visitors, the surrounding region offers spectacular attractions including the dramatic El Tajo gorge in Ronda.
Tourists can also experience the thrilling Caminito del Rey walkway, known for its breathtaking views.
Managing director of TUI UK Neil Swanson said: “We’re always looking for ways to inspire our customers, and adding Sitges and Malaga to our city break collection does just that.
“Sitges offers a unique blend of culture and coastal beauty, while Malaga is perfect for history buffs and beach lovers alike.

“Our cities programme continues to go from strength to strength and is growing by around 30 per cent each year.
“Our city breaks span destinations as local as Jersey, and as far away as San Francisco, offering something for everyone, with Dubai, New York, Amsterdam and Barcelona proving our most popular.
“We are looking forward to another busy year ahead with more exciting destinations in the pipeline.”
