Two of Donald Trump’s most loyal aides were caught rubbing elbows at the Super Bowl as the President declined to attend.

Corey Lewandowski, who wields unprecedented power in the Department of Homeland Security as Kristi Noem’s unofficial chief of staff, was seen running around the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday.

A GOP political operative close to the White House previously described Lewandowski as a ‘cockroach’ because he has managed to stay within Trump’s orbit for over a decade despite numerous political scandals.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who, like Lewandowski, is a New Hampshire native and Patriots fan, also posted pictures of herself attending the sports event with members of her family.

Lewandowski told a local reporter that he arrived in Santa Clara for the Super Bowl two days prior.

‘I get to watch the game with David Portnoy! How great is that!?’ said Lewandowski. The Patriots would go on to lose the Super Bowl 29-13 to the Seattle Seahawks.

Leavitt and Lewandowski went to the Super Bowl despite Trump branding the halftime show the ‘worst show ever’ as millions of conservatives tuned out in favor of Turning Point USA’s ‘all-American halftime show.’

The alternative program featured Kid Rock and ended with a special tribute to the organization’s deceased founder, Charlie Kirk.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, was the headline performance at the halftime show in Santa Clara, California.

Lewandowski posted photos on X from his premium suite at Levi’s Stadium, including one of former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

The Homeland Security adviser was seated near Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom.

He posted a picture of Newsom at a nearby seat with the caption: ‘Gavin enjoying the high life at the Super Bowl.’

Leavitt also posted Instagram photos with her nephew and brother as they watched a USAF flyover before the big game.

Trump, who declined to attend the event and instead tore apart the halftime show, watched the game with his political aides and allies at Mar-a-Lago.

‘It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social about the halftime show.

‘Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.’

Trump concluded that Bunny’s performance was a ‘slap in the face’ to the White House.

The President reportedly avoided attending because he was advised that the crowd would likely boo.

The White House has been contacted for comment.
