Fresh off an appearance at a Sotheby’s sports memorabilia auction in Harlem, Tom Brady is now partnering with the 280-year-old company to offload his personal watch collection.
And the NFL legend isn’t selling some Casio timepiece with an attached calculator.
‘The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady’ includes lots ranging in estimated value from $12,000 to the $800,000 Audemars Piguet piece he wore to his Comedy Central roast.
‘I’ve been so fortunate to have such an amazing journey in my career, and these watches and collectibles really capture those unforgettable moments and all the hard work behind them,’ read a statement from Brady. ‘I’m excited to give fans and collectors a chance to own and cherish these special pieces from my journey just like I have.’
Whether or not Brady is genuinely excited to share his watch collection with investors is certainly up for debate. For that matter, so is the estimated value of the overall collection, which Forbes puts at $11 million.

What’s more certain is Brady’s ability to attract collectors. Last week, the seven-time Super Bowl champion attended Fanatics and Sotheby’s ‘Holy Grails’ auction in Harlem, where $7 million in memorabilia was sold.
Even Patriots owner Robert Kraft got in on the action, paying $120,000 for a Brady rookie card.
In addition to the watches, other significant Brady merchandise will be up for sale.
There’s a game-worn Tampa Bay Buccaneers helmet from 2021-22 valued at around $100,000, as well as his final college game jersey from Michigan, which Sotheby’s pins from $300,000 to $500,000.
There is also Brady’s Super Bowl LI play-calling wristband, which he wore during the Patriots’ historic comeback from a 28-3 deficit. The piece includes the 100 plays or so Brady had to choose from in the huddle.
‘Just as he mastered the language of football, he has devoted himself to understanding the intricacies of watches, curating a world-class assortment of exquisite timepieces in recent years that reflects his deep passion for collecting,’ Richard Lopez, Sotheby’s senior specialist of luxury watches, said in a statement.
