Thankfully, the world’s best pizzas for 2026 have been revealed by Time Out – and the top spot has gone to a restaurant in the States rather than Italy.
And it’s good news for Brits too, as two UK spots have made the list. Here are the best 18 places in the world to get your pizza fix…

Hailed for its extreme creaminess, it’s made with whipped mascarpone, aged mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, parmigiano reggiano and cracked black pepper.
The pizzeria has two branches, in the West Village and Upper West Side, and has received critical acclaim from the New York Times and positive reviews on Tripadvisor.

With Mexican flavours, this pizza, from Mercado 20 de Noviembre in Oaxaca, Mexico, is almost like a taco or fajita
Finally, rounding out the list of the world’s best pizzas is the Tlayuda from Mercado 20 de Noviembre in Oaxaca, Mexico.
While the country may be better known for its tacos, this pizza is hugely impressive.
It brings to life the flavours of Mexico, including refried beans, Oaxacan cheese, mushrooms, red peppers and avocado.
Surprisingly, it’s even topped with cactus.
