The Traitors fans were confused as “worst ever” player Linda survived another banishing.
The 70-year-old – who is one of the Traitors on the BBC show – has been under suspicion from early on and many viewers have been questioning how she is managing to remain in the competition despite her “bad acting”. She had the finger pointed at her again in the episode on Friday, 10 January, but managed to escape banishment, with Dan sent packing instead.
Viewers could not believe it, with many asking: “How is she still in there?”
What, how and why?
Linda first drew suspicion in the latest episode when she started to cry when the group learned that Livi had been murdered. Several of the Faithful contestants looked on in surprise as she acted as if she was sobbing into her hands, asking why she had burst into tears so suddenly and questioning whether she had even been close to Livi.
It came up at the roundtable, but Linda insisted that Livi had been “like a daughter” to her and that she had been genuinely upset.
Luckily for her, Dan then came under fire as he had lied to Minah during the latest mission, which had seen the contestants having to “mark” other people who then had gunk poured over them. Dan picked Minah to be slimed but then denied it, leading to her, and several others, putting his name down and banishing him from the game.
Many fans admitted they were surprised to see Linda clinging to her place in the game.
One posted on X: “Linda is hands down the worst game player in the show’s history. How is she still there?” “I can’t believe Linda is scraping by every single week despite a terrible performance!?” another remarked. “How is Linda still getting away with it,” asked someone else.
“Stick Linda into season one and she is gone in the first week, she is genuinely the worst Traitor the show has ever produced, truth how on Earth has she got through again,” asked another baffled fan.
“If Linda doesn’t get banished this roundtable I may genuinely have to accept she’s immune,” quipped another. “Is Linda the worst ever Traitor?” said another.

Someone else joked: “I’m all in OBSESSED with Linda the worst Traitor ever, the most appalling acting skills, so reactionary – but she’s STILL there. All hail queen Linda.” “How many lives does she have?” joked another.
What else happened on The Traitors?
There was a big twist later in the episode, when host Claudia Winkleman told Traitors Linda and Minah that they had to select four of the Faithful for a special game called Death Match. The game would end with them murdering one person face to face.
They selected Alexander, Fozia, Leon and Anna, who were driven to a creepy graveyard location for a dramatic game of cards. Each was given two cards – most were Death cards but there was one Life card. After a round of trading, whoever had the Life card was free to return to the castle.
Anna won the first round and Alexander won the second. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Fozia and Leon set to fight it out for the last place.
The Traitors airs on BBC One on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
