“If your vision is long, thick, healthy hair then getting a regular trim will do you the world of good.”

As for how often women should be hitting the hair salon, the expert recommends getting a trim every six to eight weeks “depending on the condition of their hair”.

While cutting your hair may seem counterproductive if you want to grow it, strategic trims are essential for healthy growth.

Tina explained: “Frequently getting trims will prevent split ends from travelling further up the hair strand, which causes the hair’s overall structure to become weakened.

“Something as small as getting an inch off when you visit the salon can completely transform the appearance of your hair, leaving you with thicker, healthier-looking locks.

“We’re saying goodbye to damaged hair in 2025 and the bob’s reign is set to continue far into 2025.

“So who knows – if your hair is in desperate need of a chop, then this could be your year to experiment with a shorter hairstyle! I promise you – your hair will thank you.”

If you’re looking to improve your hair or have any hair concerns, it’s always best to consult your hairstylist or another professional who can provide tailored advice.
