When visiting a new city, it can be overwhelming – and expensive – to fit in as many ‘must-see’ attractions as possible.

Tickets often need to be booked well in advance and single-trip bookings can quickly add up.

The good news is that there is a travel pass that allows visitors to save half price on the best attractions, tours and activities in more than 28 cities.

The travel app Go City offers different pass options, depending on your trip length, budget and type of sightseeing you want to do.

For example, visitors heading to Prague who want to see as much as possible can purchase an All Inclusive Pass for £64 per day.

The pass allows access to 30 attractions, tours and activities in Prague.

For travellers who feel overwhelmed by the choice, Go City provides sample itineraries.

One of the activities included in the pass is entry to Aquapalace, which is usually €49.44 (£42.91) for a single ticket.

For visitors wanting to see as much of London as possible, they can choose between different pass options which offer access to a set number of activities.

The two-choice pass costs £54 per adult and the five-choice pass costs £114 per adult per day.

There are also All Inclusive and All Inclusive Plus passes, which offer unlimited access to activities, starting at £79 per day.

The 110 attractions on offer include the London Eye (usually £39), Up at the O2 (usually £44) and a two-day Hop On Hop Off Tour (normal price: up to £55.99).

And it’s not the only travel pass offering great value for money.

Spain has launched a national public transport pass which allows people to travel anywhere in the country by bus or train for a flat monthly fee of €60 (£52.75).

For those under 26, the pass will cost just €30 (£26.37) a month.

It will allow people to ‘travel anywhere in the country’ on middle-distance and suburban trains, as well as on national buses.

Germany introduced its seasonal pass, the Deutschlandticket, in 2023, with it originally costing €49 (£43) a month, and covering regional rail, metro, trams and bus travel across the country.

The fee rose to €58 (£51) at the beginning of 2025 and is set to increase again to €63 (£55.40) in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Hungary Pass is a monthly transport ticket that can be used throughout the country, costing around €49 (£43) for 30 days, with students receiving a massive 90 per cent discount.

Charging €20 (£17.60) a month for its train tickets, Portugal’s transport pass is the cheapest. However, it’s only available to Portuguese residents, as you need to show a national tax number to purchase it.
