Tesco has captured the hearts of the nation with its 2024 Christmas advert that shows the supermarket helping to #FeedYourChristmasSpirit.
The three-minute clip, which has been posted on the supermarket’s social media channels, shows the festivities of Christmas against a backdrop of loss as a young man mourns his granny who has passed away.
Britons have taken to social media to praise Tesco’s festive video.

Another Tesco shopper gave the ultimate praise: “Okay, this has to officially be the BEST Christmas ad.”
“Love this Tesco! Too much for a Tuesday morning,” another agreed.
Another praised the advert as “the best yet”. “Well done Tesco, what an amazing Christmas advert,” another chimed in.
An emotional shopper also wrote: “Well done Tesco, sobbing on Tuesday at 11am.”
The supermarket was successful in getting Britons into the Christmas spirit: “Love this time of the year. Time to put out the Christmas decor. Beautiful ad!”
The supermarket appeared to have countless shoppers in floods of tears with its emotional video.
One social media user admitted: “This is not good for a nine-month pregnant emotional woman, sobbed…Brilliant Tesco.”

Tesco’s Christmas advert is set to debut this evening at 8pm on ITV’s Martin Lewis Money Show and Channel 4 ’s Great British Bake Off.
