A host of celebrities gathered on The Strip on Saturday night, as Max Verstappen chased world championship glory at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Ludacris, Paul Mescal, Sylvester Stallone, Mark Wahlberg and John Legend were among the A-listers who were spotted in Sin City on race night.

Las Vegas is the newest race in the Formula One schedule and big names have taken the chance to soak up the action.

On Friday night, Rory McIlroy, singer-songwriter Adele and Olympic champion Noah Lyles were spotted at qualifying, when George Russell secured pole position.

They were snapped alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jared Leto and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Race day brought more A-listers into town, including Seth Rogen and Kevin Hart, while Michael Buffer – the voice of boxing – and his brother, UFC announcer Bruce, introduced the drivers.

Sylvester Stallone and Paul Mescal – the star of Gladiator II – soaked up the atmosphere

Canadian model Winnie Harlow, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jenny McCarthy were also spotted near the track, as was Brianna LaPaglia following her separation from Zach Bryan.

‘It’s my first trip for the Formula 1 here, it’s an amazing scene, the whole spectacle of it is really impressive,’ said McIlroy.

The golf star is one of a number of big-name investors in Alpine alongside the likes of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

‘It’s an exciting night for Alpine… the expansion of Formula One in America and to see how much this country has embraced it over recent years, the sport is going from strength to strength.’

McIlroy watched Friday’s qualifying in the Alpine garage, while singer-songwriter Adele posed for pictures in the McLaren garage.

Lyles, who won 100m gold at the Tokyo Olympics, hung out with the Ferrari team before qualifying.

On Saturday night, Rogen and Hart visited the Mercedes garage, posing for pictures with Lewis Hamilton and Russell. 

Meanwhile, Mescal – the Irish star of Gladiator II – spent time with Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
