Eagle-eyed Swansea fans have been quick to spot the unique contract signed by new boss Luke Williams upon his announcement as the club’s new manager.
Williams was appointed Swans gaffer on Friday, returning to the club from Notts Country after previously being on the coaching staff under Russell Martin.
His appointment was announced by the club on their social media feeds using a clever Star Wars themed video, putting Williams in the role of Luke Skywalker, before showing pictures of the 43-year-old signing his new contract.
However, if you look closely at the contract, fans have spotted some unusual terms Williams’ has agreed to upon taking the job.
The contract lays out three rules. Firstly the new manager must become the ‘legal guardian’ of mascots Cyril and Cybil Swan.

Secondly, he is to agree to the Luke Skywalker announcement video, and lastly Williams must agree to provide snacks for his staff for all away games.
Fans were quick to spot the amusing announcement content and shared their delight across social media.
‘Absolutely tremendous content Swansea City’ wrote one fan, while another openly admitted to checking the details by stating ‘Well played media team, 100% zoomed in.’

Others praised the terms on the piece of paper by saying ‘fair play that contract is good’ and ‘some cracking details on that contract.
While one fan was so pleased with the club he waxed lyrical by stating ‘They had the chance to do the funniest thing and they took it’.
Williams became a highly sort after coach after he led Notts County back to the Football League via the play-offs last season, after an epic battle at the top of the National League with Wrexham.
His reign at the Liberty Stadium got off to the perfect start, too, as his new side beat League Two Morecambe 2-0 in their FA Cup Third Round tie.
The club are currently 16th in the Championship having parted ways with Michael Duff following a run of only one win in eight matches.
