Popeyes will open 30 new branches in various locations across the UK.
The new stores will open this year and will mean the number of branches in the UK will nearly double.
The US chain has more than 4,000 branches worldwide and first opened in the UK in 2021.
The new locations will open in 11 different areas across Scotland, England and Wales.

Britons can already visit 38 locations up and down the UK, including drive-thru and sit-in restaurants.
Two London locations will open this week in Ilford and Hammersmith.
Chief development officer at Popeyes Tom Byng said: “We opened our first store in November 2021, to huge hype and acclaim, and customer appetite shows no sign of slowing down.
“To date, we’ve opened 38 locations up and down the country, and converted legions of fried chicken fans to Popeyes.

“We’re excited to be giving even more people their first taste of New Orleans as we double our estate in 2024.
“We’re particularly proud of our geographical spread of expansion, including our first ever travel hub restaurant in Waterloo station, which will be fuelling hungry travellers with great food and a dose of the famous New Orleans spirit.”
This comes as retail giant Asda shared it will soon open more Asda Express locations.
It will open 21 new branches across the UK by the end of January.
