Prince Harry has been branded a “true tragedy” by Donald Trump’s former Chief Strategist after a “woke agenda” captured the Duke.

Steve Bannon suggested the Duke of Sussex is “shell of his former self” and a “shiny example of what wokeness will do to you.”

Speaking to GB News, Bannon said: “This to me is the the reality of our society today.

“I mean, he’s a shell of his former self, the stuff he says and comes up with.

“I just wince and say, my God, what happened to this guy? I think it’s a tragedy, and I think the arc of his career, where he is now is a shiny example of what wokeness will do to you – of what this culture will do to you.”

His comments come after Omid Scobie, the Sussexes’ biographer, released his new book criticising the Royal Family.

Among the claims, it is suggested that two members of the royal household “expressed concern” for Meghan and Harry’s son Archie and the colour of his skin.

Scobie has also called the Princess of Wales, Princess Kate “lazy”, and suggested there is a “small scale rivalry” between King Charles and Prince William.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Bannon added: “Take a fine young man, a brave young man, a man that represented the best qualities of British society and British culture and quite frankly, the monarchy.

“And look where it is today, it’s just a true tragedy. I don’t think it’s an entertainment story, I think it’s a story that cuts to the heart of where the United Kingdom is right now politically.

“I think it cuts to the heart of where you people are as a society and a culture.”

It comes after last night GB News’ Nana Akua appeared on Steve Bannon’s War Room and argued Prince Harry should be tried for treason as she criticised the Duke of Sussex’s “ugly” attacks on the Royal Family.

Similarly to Bannon, Nana also criticised Harry’s behaviour since quitting as a working member of the Royal Family.

She added: “I just find his behaviour is disgraceful.

“He has betrayed is country, which is one of the biggest definitions of the word itself and actually it’s still punishable by life in prison.”
