A solo traveller has revealed the amazing places she has visited that have ‘blown her mind’.
Sarah, who goes by @vivjewelry on social media, shares her life backpacking around the world on social media, and .
In a video, she describes some of the best places she has visited.
None of her favourite destinations are in Europe, and Sarah has been to a range of destinations from the Middle East to Mexico.
She had been travelling for six months at the time of the video and explains how her trip has ‘no ending’.
‘I quit my job, got rid of everything I own and now my whole life is in two backpacks,’ Sarah says.
Sarah gushes: ‘The first place that absolutely blew my mind is a small town in the mountains of Mexico called San Jose del Pacifico.’
The traveller describes how it is ‘the most whimsical’ and ‘magical’ town you can think of.

‘This little town is tucked away in the mountains, so colourful, filled with art and murals and there’s no service at all so you really have to disconnect. It was one of my most favourite parts of Mexico,’ Sarah adds.
She points out that mushrooms are illegal in Mexico, but there is a ‘loophole’ in the town.
‘Because of indigenous traditions it’s not illegal to use them in spiritual or ceremonial ways,’ Sarah says.
Jordan was next on Sarah’s list, where she explored a few different cities during her travels.
When she visited the Middle Eastern country, she had ‘no clue what to expect’.
‘From the culture, the people and the food, and then all of the things you can see in Jordan. It blew my mind,’ Sarah gushes.
She recalls: ‘In the week I was there, I saw the city of Amman, and then I also went to the Wadi Rum desert for two nights, I went to a rave in the Wadi Rum desert which is so random.
‘Obviously I went to Petra, which is insane in itself, then we went to Aqaba where we swam in the Red Sea, and then on the way back you pass the Dead Sea and you can swim in it and you float, and you feel like a baby.’

‘Guys, I want to live here. It’s got beach, it’s got good food, it’s got surfing, it’s got skating, it’s got good people,’ she says.
‘I feel such a nice energy here and I’m not even here in the high season.’
She went on to share how the area felt like it was becoming her ‘comfort place’ and admits, ‘I’m going to be very sad when I have to leave, but I’ll be back’.
