Marks & Spencer shoppers are delighted to discover the return of the popular “Charcuter-tree” Christmas centrepiece.

The £25 build-your-own festive decoration has returned to M&S food halls to give customers the chance to create a show-stopping display.

The product launch was confirmed by M&S on Facebook. The retailer shared: “Fancy a show-stopping grazing board that’s just a *little bit* extra?

“Our Christmas Charcuter-tree is a build-your-own bombshell.

“It comes with everything you need, plus handy instructions for making a truly tree-mendous charcuterie centrepiece.”

It allows customers to transform deli items into an eye-catching display, using salchichon and chorizo slices from Spain, along with Manzanilla and Kalamata olives from Greece.

Dutch gouda cheese cubes pinned to the tree-shape mould using cocktail sticks, add a European touch to the festive creation. The finishing touch comes in the form of a cheese star to crown the top of the tree.

News of the return has stirred excitement on social media, particularly on the Food Finds UK Official Facebook group.

The post attracted 429 reactions from shoppers, with one Facebook shopper writing: “That is a bit of me”.

Another tagged their friend, commenting: “You’ll love this.”

“Gold board,” one shopper quipped, while another chimed in: “I feel like I have to have this.” Another commented: “I’m done, take my money.”

The festive decoration is available for purchase across M&S food halls nationwide

The 799g Charcuter-tree is now available for purchase across M&S foodhalls nationwide.

It can also be ordered through Ocado, which stocks M&S food products, though delivery charges may apply.

The launch coincides with the return of the retailer’s popular Beaujolais Nouveau.

The wine, representing the first release of the 2024 vintage, arrived in stores on the third Thursday of November.
