A Who’s Who of Sydney high society turned out for the wedding of ‘Pilates queen’ Bernadette Fahey and property developer Jordan Sukkar at Scots College on Saturday.

On a perfectly lit November evening, the glittering guests watched on as Bernadette, who looked radiant in a sleeveless Steven Khalil gown with layered skirting and a delicate laced bodice, exchanged vows with the tuxedo-clad Buildcorp CEO.

The biggest names in the eastern suburbs descended on the prestigious Bellevue Hill school for the occasion, including celebrity accountant Anthony Bell and wife Annika Martyn – who only recently wed in Noosa – as well as Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic

Model Montana Cox stunned in a low-cut, strapless pink gown, while billionaire pub baron Justin Hemmes arrived fashionably late with his pregnant girlfriend Madeline Holtznagel.

But amid the clinking glasses and whispered congratulations, one question began to ripple through the crowd: ‘Where’s Dina Broadhurst‘s plus-one?’

Dina had everyone talking when she rocked up solo – and it wasn’t just because of her see-through red dress. She had been expected to attend with her boyfriend John Winning Jr, the adrenaline-junkie son of appliance mogul John Winning Sr.

But amid the clinking glasses and whispered congratulations, one question began to ripple through the crowd: ‘Where’s Dina Broadhurst’s plus-one?’

Sources reveal Dina and her partner John Winning Jr (pictured together) broke up just hours before the wedding. Despite her heartbreak, the ‘nude artist’ rocked up to the wedding solo

Word of what happened soon began to spread: the big rumour at the wedding was that they had broken up just hours before Dina’s arrival.

Sources have since told Daily Mail Australia that Dina – a single mother and accomplished art collector – came to the realisation their lifestyles were not compatible.

So, with just hours to go before Bernadette and Jordan walked down the aisle, she put aside her heartbreak and decided to attend the nuptials on her own.

The 46-year-old had reportedly started dating John Jr, the CEO and fourth-generation heir of Winning Appliances, back in March after knowing him for some time.

But after eight months together, sources say they are done and dusted. And they’ve all but confirmed their split in a very modern fashion – by unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Still, Dina had the last laugh on her friend’s special day.

She turned heads in a sheer red dress that left almost nothing to the imagination, with a G-string-inspired under-layer showing off her bottom while a thigh split served plenty of leg.

Some wondered if it was Dina’s ‘revenge dress’ after her sudden split from John Jr.

Dina, who is both a client and friend of Bernadette’s, used her newly renovated Double Bay digs as the pre-wedding HQ for the Pilates instructor and her bridesmaids.

Hours before the couple said ‘I do’, she was spotted leaving her swanky digs with the wedding retinue.

Dina and John Jr, whose family is worth an estimated $700million, had confirmed their romance earlier this year when they attended a rave in California together. She ‘soft-launched’ him by featuring him in one of her social media posts.

At the time, the pair was said to be ‘smitten’ with each other. However, sources say Dina has grown out of her relationship with the fun-loving businessman.

John took over as CEO of Winning Appliances in 2011 at the age of 22 and steered the business in a new direction with Appliances Online, which is now Australia’s largest online retailer for appliances.

The family business was started by his great-grandfather Richard William Winning in 1906 with the trading name R.W. Winning & Co and has become a leading kitchen and laundry appliance specialist.

As well as running Winning Appliances, John is also an experienced sailor who won line honours with his crew on board Andoo Comanche in the 2022 Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

The skipper sailed the race alongside his father John Winning Sr, who previously won the Sydney to Hobart line honours back in 1976.

In his spare time, John is an adrenaline junkie with a love for skydiving. He is also a DJ and has performed for crowds on lavish yachts, in Ibiza nightclubs and even at Glastonbury.

John reportedly lives in an eclectic Surry Hills bachelor pad featuring its own private nightclub, a see-through smoking room and a swimming pool.

Dina was previously in a relationship with Max Shepherd, 31, but it emerged in June 2023 they had parted ways after four-and-a-half years together.

Following the break-up, the socialite was briefly linked to property investor Tony Benjamin before taking up with John Jr.
