Sarah Ferguson has spent time in the French Alps and the United Arab Emirates as she plans a return to public life, according to new claims.
Ms Ferguson has been lying low in recent weeks, following the latest release of the Epstein files in which she and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor feature in.
The former Duke and Duchess of York have always denied any wrongdoing.
Appearing in the Epstein files is not evidence of any wrongdoing, and inclusion in the documents does not implicate anyone in Epstein’s criminality.
Ms Ferguson has been “getting her head together,” spending time in the Alps before travelling to the UAE according to the Mail.

She has also spent time with her daughter, Princess Eugenie, who was in Doha, attending an art fair in her role as director at Hauser and Wirth.
Sources have told the publication that Ms Ferguson has told friends: “I need to get back to work. I need money.”
The future for Ms Ferguson appears to see her distancing herself from Andrew, despite having lived together at Royal Lodge for nearly two decades.
She reportedly told a friend: “When I come back I am going to have to put some distance between myself and Andrew.”

INSTAGRAM: PRINCESS EUGENIEIt is understood that Ms Ferguson will not join Andrew at his new home on the Sandringham Estate, and she is looking to remain “in the Windsor area,” where she is hoping to buy or rent her own home.
Friends believe she is “kidding herself” if the former duchess believes she can return to normal life following the scandal with the Epstein files.
In a message sent on August 3, 2009, Fergie appeared to tell Epstein she had “never been more touched by a friend’s kindness”.

“I have never been more touched by a friends kindness than your compliment to me in front of my girls.
“Thank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.”
The files have also included the names of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, something Ms Ferguson is said to be “deeply concerned” by.
A source said: “Sarah is upset that their names have apparently been taken off the guest lists for red-carpet and charity events.”
They added: “The public is disgusted by what they have read. And how would she pay a new PR team to rescue her reputation?
“She is said to be looking to bounce back, in typical Fergie style. I’m just not sure the public will buy it.”
