Sarah Ferguson spent this afternoon in an exclusive London medical clinic, three days after her spokesperson announced her cancer diagnosis.
The Duchess of York could be seen leaving King Edward VII’s hospital today, which was the first time she had been seen since her skin cancer diagnosis was made known.
A mole was removed from Sarah’s body, which was later tested as a malignant melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer.
This comes as the duchess underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery for breast cancer six months prior.

Sarah, 64, smiled as she left the private London hospital in Marylebone today.
The duchess is understood to have spent an hour inside the exclusive London clinic.
The private London hospital is favoured by many members of the Royal Family, including the late Prince Philip.
The former Duke of Edinburgh stayed at the hospital for two weeks after his heart procedure in February 2021.

This was two months before the late Queen Elizabeth II’s husband died at Windsor Castle.
On Monday, Fergie, as she is affectionately known, took to Instagram to release a personal statement about her latest cancer diagnosis.
She wrote: “I have been taking some time to myself as I have been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, my second cancer diagnosis within a year after I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer and underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. It was thanks to the great vigilance of my dermatologist that the melanoma was detected when it was.
“Naturally another cancer diagnosis has been a shock but I’m in good spirits and grateful for the many messages of love and support.

“I believe my experience underlines the importance of checking the size, shape, colour and texture and emergence of new moles that can be a sign of melanoma and urge anyone who is reading this to be diligent.”
The duchess added: “I am incredibly thankful to the medical teams that have supported me through both of these experiences with cancer and to the MAYRLIFE Clinic for taking gentle care of me in the past weeks, allowing me time for recuperation.
“I am resting with family at home now, feeling blessed to have their love and support.”
