Sarah Ferguson will move out of Royal Lodge following Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s confirmed relocation to the Sandringham Estate, but one property expert told GB News it would be “unsurprising” if Fergie remained close by her ex-husband.
Andrew, who was formally stripped of his royal titles last week in a statement from Buckingham Palace, is leaving Royal Lodge after more than two decades.
Robin Edwards, a property buying agent at Curetons, told GB News: “As for Sarah Ferguson, her living arrangements have always been somewhat unconventional.
“Despite being divorced, Andrew and Sarah continued to share Royal Lodge together for many years, and she has often spoken about their enduring friendship.
“She will move out of Royal Lodge and find her own accommodation.
“However, I wouldn’t be surprised if she continues to live with or near Andrew, particularly as they still have some financial interests together and have relied on each other for companionship through their many scandals and turbulent times.”
The Palace confirmed that Andrew will relocate to a smaller private residence on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, marking the end of his long tenure at the Windsor property once shared with his ex-wife.
The statement issued on October 30 read: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
While Fergie is not confirmed to be joining him at Sandringham, questions over where she will settle next have already surfaced.
Mr Edwards said her decision will likely depend on the terms of Andrew’s new arrangement with the King.
LATEST ROYAL DEVELOPMENTS
“If Andrew’s new home on the Sandringham estate is provided under specific conditions by the King, Sarah might not be formally included,” he said.
“In that case, she may establish her own residence nearby, perhaps a smaller country property within easy reach, allowing the former couple to maintain their close relationship without the optics of cohabiting in a royal grace-and-favour home.”
The couple, who divorced in 1996 after 10 years of marriage, have continued to live together at Royal Lodge and frequently describe themselves as a “modern family.”

GETTYFergie has long defended Andrew publicly, referring to him as “a kind and good man” during periods of intense scrutiny.
The move brings to an end one of the most unconventional post-divorce living arrangements in royal history.
Yet for those familiar with the pair’s longstanding partnership, a nearby home could simply mark a continuation of their enduring loyalty to one another.
