Sarah Ferguson has issued a fresh statement on Princess Beatrice following the royal’s pregnancy announcement.
Earlier today, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Princess of York, 36, is expecting her second child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Taking to her social media, Beatrice’s mother, the Duchess of York, posted a previously unseen picture of Sarah, the princess and her three-year-old daughter Sienna.
Fergie accompanied the post with the following statement: “Darling Beatrice. Words can’t quite express the joy and excitement I feel as you and Edo prepare to welcome another precious addition to your beautiful family.
“Becoming a granny again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude.
“Watching you grow as a mother has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and now to see your family blossom further is an absolute blessing.
“Our family is growing, and so too is the love that surrounds us.
“I cannot wait to meet this little one and to share in all the wonderful memories we will make together. All my love.”

Beatrice tied the knot with Edoardo on July 17, 2020, in the All Saints Chapel in Windsor.
They welcomed their first child, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, the following year in September.
Edoardo also has an eight-year-old son named Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) with his ex-partner, Dara Huang.
The Duchess of York and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, are also grandparents through their youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie.
Eugenie, who tied the knot with financier Jack Brooksbank in 2018, has two sons named August, three, and Ernest, one.
Beatrice and her younger sister are known to be extremely close, as are their children.
For example, Princess Eugenie previously took to Instagram showing her eldest son August and his cousin, Sienna, on a day trip to the London Aquarium.
