On June 26, a sailor aboard a tugboat in the Sea of Japan fell overboard while urinating off the side during rough seas. The 51-year-old crewman vanished from sight shortly after the incident, and his absence was noticed only upon the tug’s arrival at a bay in Russia. Despite a nine-day search, he has not been found.
