The Red Arrows 50p coin depicts three BAE Systems Hawk T1 aircraft in flight, complete with their distinctive coloured trails used in aerial displays.

The design showcases the precision and agility that has made the RAF display team world-renowned as they mark 60 years since their first display.

The second 50p coin commemorates Stories of the Second World War, featuring the 1939-45 star, defence medal and war medal.

These medals, awarded to millions for their wartime service, symbolise the unique experiences of those who played pivotal roles in the Second World War.

The £2 coin celebrating modern railways marks the historic journey of George Stephenson’s Locomotion No. 1 on September 27, 1825, between Shildon, Darlington and Stockton.

The Royal Observatory £2 coin features the Shepherd Gate Clock, the constellation Ursa Minor, the star Polaris and the Prime Meridian shown on a globe.

The £5 coin marks 125 years since the birth of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, depicting a portrait that was originally created for her 80th birthday in 1980.

Each of these commemorative coins will be available individually throughout 2025.
