The Royal Family is ‘united in outrage’ and considering legal action after media outlets across the world began to name the two senior royals who allegedly had “concerns” about Prince Archie’s skin colour.

The identities of the senior royals were first published in the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame.

Copies of the Dutch version of the book were urgently pulled from shelves across the Netherlands after the “error” was identified.

Piers Morgan then named King Charles and Kate, Princess of Wales as the two royals, followed by other news organisations including The Guardian, BBC, Sky News, The New York Post, ITV and The Times.

The Royal Family are considering “all options” including legal action as the King and Kate continue to be named across the globe.

Sources close to Meghan Markle have insisted the Duchess of Sussex never intended to publicly identify them and that no one in her camp leaked the information to Scobie.

Sources close to Meghan Markle, who named the pair in a letter she wrote to the King, have insisted the Duchess of Sussex never intended to publicly identify them and that no one in her camp leaked the information to Scobie.

The Duchess of Sussex claimed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 that there were “concerns and conversations” within the Royal Family about how dark Prince Archie’s skin might be when he was born.

Meghan said during the interview when outlining her decision not to name the members of the Royal Family: “I think that would be very damaging to them.”
