Royal author Omid Scobie has claimed he knows which two royals made the comments about Prince Archie’s skin colour.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sat down for an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, where the Duchess of Sussex claimed an unnamed member of the Royal Family raised “concerns and conversations about [Prince Archie’s] skin colour” before he was born.
However, Scobie, who previously released a biography called Finding Freedom about the duke and duchess, has now suggested there were two royals who made the comments about the young prince in his upcoming book.
The author’s book Endgame is due to be released tomorrow, and Scobie sat down for a promotional interview with Good Morning America today.

During the interview, Scobie admitted he knew who the two royals were, and that they reportedly feared “how dark” Archie’s skin would be when he was born.
The author further shared that he is unable to disclose who the royals are as it is forbidden by UK law.
He said: “I do know who made the comments about Archie’s skin colour.
“The names were mentioned in letters between Meghan and Charles that were exchanged sometime after the Oprah interview.

“We know from sources that Charles was horrified that that’s how Meghan felt that that’s how those conversations were.”
Disagreements over the comments have led to strained relations between Charles and Meghan, the author claimed.
Scobie added: “It’s why I personally think that they have been able to move forward with some kind of line of communication afterwards.
“They may not see eye-to-eye on it.”
