Ronan Keating wades in on Louis Walsh feud amid ITV CBB star’s ‘p***k’ verdict of Boyzone singer

Louis Walsh recently rehashed his feud with Boyzone singer Ronan Keating during another one of his rants on Celebrity Big Brother.

The former X Factor judge has caused quite the stir with some of his former friends and co-stars during his time on the reality TV show – with many of them hitting back at his claims.

Keating began working with Walsh when he was 16 and it wasn’t long before he was paired up with Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham – forming Boyzone.

Walsh was their manager and mentor for a number of years but over time their relationship became bitter.

During Tuesday night’s instalment of Celebrity Big Brother, the housemates were treated to a VIP pop party where they were given drinks, treats and the chance to listen to some music.

Keating’s hit song Life Is A Rollercoaster played and the majority of the celebrities were thrilled to hear the song – but the same can’t be said for Walsh.

Taking an unexpected swipe at Keating, Walsh slammed: “Great song. He was such a p***k. Everybody thinks he’s a lovely guy, do you know what I mean?

“He hasn’t had a hit record since I left. He sacked me,” he grumbled to Sharon Osbourne.

Keating has made his thoughts on their feud clear in the past and claimed Walsh needed to “move on” during his Magic FM Magic in the Morning Breakfast Show.

He said: “He was very important to me as a mentor and I’m grateful for the opportunities he gave me because I wouldn’t be here without them.

“But there’s only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected.

“Really he should just move on and be happy and grateful for what he’s achieved – he’s had a great career. It’s no life to be bitter and talking negatively about people – it festers in your soul.”

Whilst Keating may not have given a fresh take on the comments from Walsh, two of his former X Factor stars has hit out against him.

When asked what Jedward – real names John and Edward Grimes – were like by Colson Smith, Walsh immediately branded them “vile” and a “novelty act.”

The twins hit back on Gemma Collins’ Instagram account and said: “You’re like a cat with nine lives, how many times can you slag off your acts? Us, Girls Aloud, Boyzone, Westlife, Ronan Keating, it is absolutely a disgrace.

“You’re a senile man for us, you have no idea. You’re not even a manager, Simon Cowell made you who you are.

“How dare you be on Big Brother? Talk about throwing people out, you didn’t do anything for us.”

The second brother added: “Louis was never our manager, he disrespected our mum multiple times, how dare you try and define us when you are all those things.”
