Britain’s “most tattooed mum” has called Rishi Sunak “gorgeous” and said she would “love to give him a good sandwich” after he revealed the lunchtime snack to be his favourite meal.

Asked if he was planning a special meal for election night he told ITV’s This Morning: “My favourite meal, generally, is sandwiches.”

The interview with the Prime Minister came after a segment on the programme with Becky Holt, who is known as Britain’s most tattooed mother.

Speaking to The Telegraph following her appearance on ITV, she said: “I’m totally with him on sandwiches being the best, my favourite is bacon, lettuce and tomato.”

Ms Holt added: “Rishi Sunak was gorgeous, he had beautiful skin, lovely eyes and amazing teeth – I’d love to give him a good sandwich.”

The 36-year-old said the Prime Minister spoke with her briefly after the interview and asked about her tattoos.

Ms Holt admitted she is not an avid follower of politics, saying: “I’m not into politics whatsoever. I know I should care, but I don’t. I like the memes but other than that I have no interest.”

Asked which party leader she would get tattooed on her body, she said: “I’d get Rishi, obviously, since he is now my favourite prime minister ever.

“I’d get a picture of his face and put a little caption saying ‘when I was little I didn’t get Sky TV’”.

It comes after Mr Sunak was criticised for saying he was forced to sacrifice “lots of things” as a child owing to his family’s financial circumstances, including Sky TV.

After Ms Holt was interviewed, Mr Sunak revealed his choice of tattoo would be the Southampton FC badge.

“My mind straightaway went to: well, I’d probably get the Saints crest,” he said, before adding that it’s “a great logo”.

And while his favourite meal may be a sandwich, Mr Sunak said he intended to stick with his North Yorkshire election night tradition which involved eating a “special election pie” from Kitson’s butchers on Northallerton High Street in his constituency.

Mr Sunak described the dish as a “very good pork pie with a special chutney and some cheese on top”.

He said he has had the pie at all the elections he has stood at in Richmond in North Yorkshire.

Haribo and Twixes

Last month Mr Sunak revealed his “appalling diet” of Haribo and Twixes on the campaign trail.

Speaking to Sky News, he said: “I actually have an appalling diet because I eat an enormous amount of sugar, and I’m very unhealthy in that regard, which I was talking to someone earlier today about. They were completely shocked.”

He added: “They were genuinely surprised about the amount of Haribos, Twixes and everything else that I get through, particularly during an election campaign.”

The 44-year-old practises intermittent fasting, whereby he fits all his meals into a short window and then abstains for a prolonged period, but has spoken about his love of Coca-Cola and other sugary items.

Speaking about what he eats before important parliamentary business, he told Times Radio: “I have a sugar problem so I tend to have a Twix and a can of Sprite, even though my favourite thing is Coke, but I save that for afterwards.

“But I have a Twix and a can of Sprite which Lisa, who runs my office, always makes sure is sitting there on my desk in Parliament, so that is my immediate pre-game kind of booster.”

In 2022 Mr Sunak claimed the McDonalds breakfast wrap was his go-to order from the fast food chain, before being told it had been off the menu for two years. The wrap was reintroduced to the menu in February and Mr Sunak gave a nod to this in July with a social media post.

A picture of the Prime Minister holding a wrap was accompanied by the caption: “I love a comeback.”
