If you’re looking for rides, attractions, sunshine and an all-round jovial atmosphere, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better destination than Disney World.
The park located in Orlando, Florida, is frequented by tourists throughout the year, children and adults alike.
While the park is almost always busy, it turns out that some times of year are better to visit than others.
The best dates to go to avoid crowds are right around the corner – mid-January to early February.
This period is usually one of the least crowded periods for the resort, analysis by USA Today has revealed.
Naturally, visiting outside of school holidays and major dates such as Christmas is the best way to ensure a quieter experience.
If you can’t visit at the start of the year, there are other quieter windows you could try too.
Early March or late April are quieter, as long as you avoid school or college holidays in the US.

Early in May, before summer holidays, could also be an option.
Later in the year, in late September, early October and very early in November might work too.
As for December, you’ll want to go as early as possible to avoid the Christmas rush.
Plus, prices vary from day to day – with the research showing September is the cheapest month to go.
And heading to the hotspot midweek, rather than on a Saturday or Sunday, also makes it more likely you’ll avoid huge crowds.
You can also get decent prices if visiting in August, with the summer offering great prices.
According to USA Today, the dates with the lowest starting prices for one-day, one-park tickets for 2026 in August are the 18, 20, 21 and 24-28.
For September, try the dates 1-3, 8-10, 15-17 or 22-24.

It comes after it was revealed a massive new theme park is coming to Orlando.
Mattel, the toy company behind Barbie and Hot Wheels, is set to open a massive indoor water park in the Florida city, just a mere ten minutes from Disney World.
In November, the company first announced that it was preparing to build five indoor water parks across the US but shared very few details at the time.
Now, this week, permits were said to have been filed.
