Queen Camilla has provided an update on King Charles ahead of the monarch’s prostate surgery next week.
The Queen, during an engagement in Scotland today, was asked about the King’s health.

This comes as all of the King’s upcoming public engagements have been postponed.
The Palace has declined to say whether he would be treated in London or Scotland.
The King was diagnosed on Wednesday after experiencing symptoms and going for a check-up earlier this week.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “In common with thousands of men each year, the King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate.

“His Majesty’s condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.”
It is understood King Charles was keen to share the details of his diagnosis to encourage others to get checked.
The King had a series of meetings and events planned at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire today and tomorrow.
However, these are now being postponed on his doctor’s advice.
