A new property report ranked the top 10 cheapest areas to live across the United Kingdom.

With inflation rising, the opportunity for first-time buyers to get an affordable and reasonable mortgage is extremely difficult, forcing them to not move out or rent instead.

The median price difference between the first and last property only changed by nearly £13,600, with the cheapest median price just shy of £53,000.

The report, compiled together by Cardinal Steels and Online Marketing Surgery, used data from the Office for National Statistics to reveal the 10 areas which have the lowest housing pricing.
