Britons should check their kitchen cupboards as a common household item has been deemed unsafe to use.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) warned Britons that the Vitamix A3500i Ascent Series Blender Set – Blending Container presents a risk of injuries.

OPSS
The OPSS said: “This product presents a risk of injuries as the container may separate from the blade base, exposing the blades to the consumer and posing a laceration hazard.
“This product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
“The product has been recalled from end users. Consumers should immediately stop using the 225ml and 600ml blending containers and blade bases.
“Consumers are asked to install the protective plastic shroud, as well as the additional instruction labels as provided by the manufacturer.”

A soup from M&S has been recalled
Marks & Spencer
This comes as Marks and Spencer pulled a soup from stores that could contain metal.
