Princess Eugenie has broken cover after a tough week to meet with a princess and the US ambassador to the UK.
This was Princess Eugenie’s first public appearance since Scoop aired on Netflix last week.
The film starring Gillian Anderson is a dramatisation of her father Prince Andrew’s car crash Newsnight interview from 2019.
Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, was depicted in the film as encouraging the Duke of York to go through with the interview, which consequently ended his royal career.

On Thursday, Princess Eugenie, 34, broke cover by meeting the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Jane D. Hartley.
Hartley hosted a reception and panel discussion on the fashion industry’s commitment to sustainability at her Regent’s Park residence Winfield House.
Princess Nina of Greece and Denmark, who is married to Eugenie’s distant cousin Prince Philippos, was also present.
The couple were guests at Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in 2018.

Co-hosted with Gabriela Hearst, the gathering was said to bring together “thought leaders in the sustainable space from the worlds of fashion, philanthropy, music, media and film”.
Princess Eugenie wore a grey knit dress designed by Hearst for the occasion, which retails for a whopping £1,332.
She paired the chic gown with a Strathberry £445 tan and cream handbag.
For footwear, Eugenie, 34, wore £650 Gianvito Rossi suede heels.

Princess Eugenie wore the same outfit later that evening to attend a party in London with Ellie Goulding.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were also in attendance.
The Love Me Like You Do singer sang in the Royal Albert Hall before having a celebratory bash with the royal sisters.
Eugenie and Beatrice are good friends with Goulding, having attended her wedding in 2019.
