Princess Charlotte delighted royal fans during the traditional Christmas Day walkabout at Sandringham by stopping to take a selfie with one lucky well-wisher.

The nine-year-old princess showed her growing maturity as she greeted crowds who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the Royal Family following the morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church.

The young royal beamed with a sweet smile as she posed alongside the fan for the photograph.

Charlotte graciously accepted gifts from members of the public, including flowers and chocolates, as she joined her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for the festive occasion.

The princess demonstrated poise beyond her years as she interacted with the eager onlookers who had patiently waited for the Royal Family’s appearance.

Princess Charlotte looked festive in a blue coat dress featuring an elegant tartan pattern and double-breasted design with a suede navy collar.

The princess paired her outfit with navy tights and black Mary Jane pumps, while her cinnamon-coloured hair was styled with a velvet navy bow.

She walked alongside her brothers Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, six, as they greeted well-wishers at Sandringham.

Prince George led the way in a classic tailored suit, sporting a blue and green tartan tie that complemented the family’s coordinated appearance.

The youngest Wales sibling, Prince Louis, matched his brother in a suit and stayed close to his mother during the walkabout.

Louis was later seen with his arms full of chocolate treats and gifts from the gathered royal supporters.

The Princess of Wales chose an emerald green tailored coat by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen for the Christmas Day service, paired with a matching bow-adorned hat and green and blue tartan scarf.

It was not the first time the mother and daughter had coordinated outfits, with Charlotte often matching her mother’s elegant style.

At the recent ‘Together at Christmas’ carol service at Westminster Abbey, the pair wore complementary festive looks, with Charlotte in a burgundy coat dress and her signature black bow.

The Princess of Wales opted for a red Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen longline coat with a black velvet bow for the same occasion.

Their matching style extends beyond the festive season, as demonstrated at Trooping the Colour 2024, where Kate wore a Jenny Packham gown with a striped asymmetrical bow, while Charlotte donned a navy sailor’s dress with white bows.
