Princess Beatrice made an “excellent choice” at this year’s Christmas carol concert, according to a style expert, despite her royal status remaining unconfirmed.

The Princess of York wore a gorgeous tartan dress as she accompanied her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and her stepson Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) to Westminster Abbey on December 8.

The “Beulah London Ahana Long-Sleeve Dress in Tartan” was a new purchase for Beatrice and according to a style expert, it was an “excellent choice”.

The dress is still available to purchase for a whopping £895.

Its description says: “The Ahana Dress in Tartan – a classic, wardrobe must-have.

“Crafted from a beautiful blue and green wool crepe, this dress has a full skirt and tailored bodice.

“The Ahana is an elegant choice for any season and produced in an RWS-certified 100 per cent wool crepe with a fit and flare silhouette.

“The short stand neckline has been updated and the elegant sweeping skirt is belted at the waist for a figure-defining fit. We love the charming button front detail.”

“This has been seen through their careful outfit choices this year.”

Princess Kate’s Together at Christmas carol concert will air on ITV 1 tonight at 7.45pm.
