Princess Anne has released her annual Christmas card, which was shared by the Reliant Motor Club, of which Princess Anne is an honorary member.

The Princess Royal’s card, which was shared on the organisation’s Facebook page, featured an image of the royal with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, taken on Garter Day in June.

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are also thought to not attend the celebrations.

The card’s photo shows Anne and her husband riding in a carriage after the service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Anne wore her dark blue velvet Garter robes, white gloves, and a Tudor-style hat with white plumed Ostrich feathers, while Sir Tim was dressed in a formal morning suit and a top hat.

The royal couple marked their 32nd wedding anniversary on December 12, however, the Princess Royal carried out usual engagements in Norfolk and Suffolk.

The wedding took place at Crathie Kirk near the royal family’s Scottish estate Balmoral in 1992 as the Church of Scotland permitted second marriage for divorcees.

The only daughter of Queen Elizabeth was previously married to Captain Mark Phillips from 1973 to 1992, with whom she shares her children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall.

The Princess Royal, appointed as a member of the Order of the Garter in 1994, insisted on being installed as a knight like her elder brother, King Charles, rather than a lady.

The Princess Royal has five grandchildren, Savannah and Isla Phillips, and Mia, Lena and Lucas Tindall.

The family is expected to gather in Sandringham for Christmas with the King and Queen, as is tradition, despite the absence of the Yorks and Sussexes.

King Charles will lead the family during the walk to St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas day.

Princess Anne has been the hardest-working royal based on the number of official engagements for the last four years, attending 217 in 2024.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also released their Christmas card nine days after King Charles and Queen Camilla.
