Prince Harry set for major win as duke to be inducted into Living Legends of Aviation hall of fame

Prince Harry is set for a major win as the Duke of Sussex will be inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame.

This comes after the Duke of Sussex was recently snubbed from Sandhurst’s guide of most notable graduates.

Unlike his older brother Prince William, Harry was left out of the Sandhurst Academy’s 200 most notable alumni book.

Despite this, Prince Harry, 39, is now set to be inducted into an aviation hall of fame alongside famous astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

The former helicopter pilot will be among several people awarded at the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards on January 19.

The awards will “honour those who have made significant contributions to aviation/aerospace”.

The famous actor John Travolta will host the awards, which are set to be held in Beverly Hills.

Travolta is known as the “Official Ambassador of Aviation”.

Prince Harry’s biography on the official programme reads: “A British Army veteran and pilot with 10 years military service, flying training missions in the US, UK and Australia, as well as combat missions in Afghanistan saving the lives of allied forces and countless civilians, and creator of the Invictus Games for wounded service members and veterans around the world.”

Omid Scobie, the biographer who has penned two books on the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle, took to social media platform X to announce the news.

Prince Harry will likely attend the red carpet event in person, although it is not confirmed whether or not he will joined by the Duchess of Sussex.

Fans were thrilled with this announcement and took to social media to sing the duke’s praises.

One posted: “Absolutely wonderful! Congrats Prince Harry!”

Similarly, someone said: “That’s our prince! Go Harry.”

Another added: “A very big humiliation for the Sandhurst academy.”
