Prince Harry is heading to South Africa just one month before Prince William’s landmark event.

The Duke of Sussex is set to jet off to South Africa today despite having not had the chance to meet with any of the senior royals during his time in the UK.

Harry is flying to South Africa to attend events in support of his charity Sentebale.

The Duke of Sussex will travel to Lesotho for a gathering of business leaders, philanthropists and local stakeholders, aimed at driving forward the work of his youth-focused charity, supporting the digital and economic inclusion of the next generation in Africa, according to the Mail.

Meghan Markle is not expected to join Prince Harry in South Africa.

The couple have spent time apart over the last two weeks as Harry has carried out solo engagements across New York and London.

Prince William opted not to see Prince Harry on Monday amid their ongoing royal feud.

However, William may be heading over to South Africa just a month after Prince Harry’s engagements.

The Prince of Wales’s fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony is taking place on November 6th.

Today, William is visiting ENSO, a 2023 Earthshot Prize Finalist, after the London-based start-up announced a groundbreaking partnership with Uber across the UK and USA.

The prince is meeting with ENSO’s Founder and CEO, Gunnlaugur Erlendsson, to learn about the company’s progress since his last visit in October 2023.

ENSO, which specialises in sustainable tyres for electric vehicles, caught the royal’s attention as a finalist in the Clean Our Air category.

During his visit, Prince William explored the technology behind ENSO’s low-emission tyres and discuss their real-world impact on global pollution levels.

ENSO’s innovative tyre technology aims to tackle a significant environmental challenge. With 1.5 billion vehicles on global roads, tyre pollution is a major contributor to air quality issues, especially in urban areas.

ENSO’s low-emission tyres are designed to reduce particulate pollution by 35 per cent compared to conventional tyres. This improvement is achieved through precise calibration for enhanced durability.

The company’s growth has been remarkable since becoming an Earthshot Prize Finalist. In June, ENSO announced plans for a $500 million carbon-neutral tyre factory in the US.

Set to be operational by 2027, the facility will employ over 600 people and produce more than five million EV tyres annually.
