Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rebuking their “snub” gave a “telling Endgame signal”, a royal biographer has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not issued any statement regarding Omid Scobie’s book, which was released on November 28.

However, no names were mentioned until the Dutch version of Scobie’s book named Princess Kate and King Charles as the two alleged royals involved.

Scobie has admitted to having sources close to Meghan and Harry, but he claims that he has never collaborated directly with the couple.

Despite all of this, sources close to the Sussexes recently rebuked the claim that they were “snubbed” from the Duke of Westminster’s upcoming wedding invitation list.

Gareth Russell, a royal biographer, spoke exclusively to GB News to explain why this rebuke was very “telling” in his opinion.

He claimed: “This is a purely personal perspective, but I don’t see if there is anything that the King can do about reuniting the whole family at the moment.

“For there to be a reunion, there has to be a pause where there are no new scandals or no new attacks.

“And while the Sussexes seem to be keeping their distance from complicity with the Endgame book, it is interesting that a surrogate or a source close to the Sussexes was found to publicly rebut the claim that Harry and Meghan hadn’t been invited to the Duke of Westminster’s wedding.

“None were found to clearly denounce the claims made in Endgame which leads to a very strong supposition that maybe they have provided or one of them had provided information towards it.”

The commentator, who has published a biography about the Queen Mother, suggested that reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royals could be “difficult”.

Russell explained: “Certainly, the Sussexes simply haven’t put a lot of clear blue water between themselves and the Scobie book, which makes any reconciliation potentially very difficult if they’re still considered to be leaking information and their version of events to a surrogate, whether they are or not.

“I think the impression that they are is still one that quite a few people have.”
