Prince Andrew has stepped out just hours before a new royal bombshell drops.

The Duke of York was spotted today as he left his home in Windsor to go on a horse ride on the eve of the release of A Very Royal Scandal.

Prince Andrew was snapped deep in thought today while horseriding in Windsor.

The Duke of York, 64, rode with a groom before driving back to Royal Lodge, which is currently causing a dispute between him and his brother, King Charles.

The horse ride comes the day before the release of a new bombshell series ‘A Very Royal Scandal’, which focuses on the duke’s scandalous Newsnight interview.

In the upcoming Amazon Prime series, which is based on Emily Maitlis’s perspective in securing an interview with Prince Andrew for BBC’s Newsnight to discuss the Jeffrey Epstein debacle, the duke will be portrayed by actor Micheal Sheen.

The Duke of York is said to be so excited by the upcoming release of the drama that he is reportedly planning a screening party for when the show airs in the UK.

“Andrew was very excited when Scoop came out and he’s also looking forward to seeing how he’s been portrayed in the new one [A Very Royal Scandal],” the source told The Express.

“He’s planning to watch it like everyone else with a mini viewing party [at Royal Lodge].”

One of his daughters Princess Beatrice is also said not to be concerned about the release of this new series.

The source continued: “Both Andrew and Beatrice are not so troubled by the release of this one.

“Beatrice was very troubled prior to the launch of Scoop because she thought it would ruin all the good work she had done, but it quickly became evident that the portrayal of her was respectful, so she is not in as much fear about this one [A Very Royal Scandal].”

The series is based on ‘Prince Andrew & the Epstein Scandal’ which aired on Newsnight on the BBC in November 2019.

Following the interview, Andrew stepped down as a working royal and largely stayed away from public life.

He spends the majority of his time at his home, Royal Lodge in Windsor.
