Prince Andrew should ‘just retire’, says royal commentator

A royal commentator has said Prince Andrew should ‘just retire’ after the Epstein files were released.

This week, new documentation was made public which named over 150 people in connection with the convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein.

Among the names were former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump alongside world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking and The Duke of York.

This follows a court order by a judge last month, as part of a 2015 defamation case by Virginia Giuffre against Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell.

Talking to GBNews Royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo said that he feels the Royal should “just retire” and stop trying to regain public favor.

He said: “I mean, look, you know we can believe what we want to believe.

“We can say it’s all made-up, but it does suggest that on as part of the British Virgin Islands, he took place in the accusation as he took place in an underage o***.

“He was also accused of groping the breast of an elected sex alleged sex slave. We’ve had years of this already, but what does this do?”

GBNews host Nigel Farage pointed out that the Duke has always denied the accusations and asked the expert what is next for him.

He said: “It’s Certainly not a happy new year for Prince Andrew, and he has to wonder whether he’ll ever be able to escape the clutches of this story.”

He added: “It’s hard to see what the Royal Family can do in terms of this because they’ve gone as far as they can go.

“They’ve stripped him of His Royal Highness title. He’s lost all of his honorary military appointments and titles, all of his patronages. He can’t wear a uniform. He’s sequestered at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

“The King and Prince William have both been the driving forces, even during the Queen’s reign, ensuring that he keeps a low profile. Prince Andrew has been sort of maneuvering behind the scenes to try to slowly inch his way back into public life.

“I think there needs to be a firm decision now made to tell him there’s no chance of that ever happening. Look, he’s 63 years of age. He’s two years away from retirement anyway. He needs to just retire.”

He then said: “He’s not guilty of anything, he’s denied any wrongdoing and no court of law finds him guilty.

“But, when you’re a Prince of the Realm that doesn’t matter.

“He’s been found guilty in the eyes of the public & public opinion matters here.”
